That Member Paul Sweet be appointed to the position of Chair of the Essex County OPP Detachment Board - North for the period of February 9, 2026 to the date of the first meeting of the board of 2027.

That Member Dave Kigar be appointed to the position of Vice Chair of the Essex County OPP Detachment Board - North (Lakeshore, Essex, Tecumseh) for the period of February 9, 2026 to the date of the first meeting of the board of 2027.

That the Agenda for the Essex County OPP Detachment Board - North meeting dated Monday, February 9, 2026, as duplicated and delivered to the members thereof, be accepted.

That the Minutes of the December 8, 2025 Essex County OPP Detachment Board - North meeting, as delivered to the members be adopted.

That the supplementary item added to the Essex County OPP Detachment Board - North agenda regarding the OPP Monthly Report for the month of January, be approved.

That the Intimate Partner Violence presentation as appended on the Agenda, be received.

That the OPP Reports for the months of November 2025, December 2025 and January 2026, be received.

That Communications - For Information, Items 1 to 3 as listed on the February 9, 2026 Essex County OPP Detachment Board - North, be received.

That attendance at the 2026 Ontario Association of Police Service Boards (OAPSB) Spring Conference and Annual General Meeting to be held May 31 - June 2, 2026 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, by Members be approved, in accordance with Town of Tecumseh Travel Policy No. 127 and the 2026 Essex County OPP Detachment Board-North Budget; And that sponsorship of the 2026 OAPSB Spring Conference and AGM in amount of $1,000.00 be approved, in accordance with the 2026 Essex County OPP Detachment Board-North Budget.

That there being no further business, the Monday, February 9, 2026 meeting of the Essex County OPP Detachment Board - North be adjourned at 10:50 am.
