That the December 14, 2021 minutes of the Regular Council Meeting, as were duplicated and delivered to the members, be adopted .

That Communications - For Information 1 through 10 as listed on the Tuesday, January 11, 2022 Regular Council Agenda, be received .

That the December 15, 2021 minutes of the Town of Tecumseh Business Improvement Area as were duplicated and delivered to the members, be received .

That the December 17, 2021 minutes of the Police Services Board as were duplicated and delivered to the members, be accepted .

T hat a by-law having the effect of amending Zoning By-law 1746 by: rezoning the northern 1185.7 square metre (12,763 square foot) portion of 165 Chene Street from “Residential Zone 3 (R3-3)” to a site-specific “Residential Zone 3 (R3-20)” in order to: remove the currently permitted use of an automobile body repair garage in accordance with Condition 5 of Consent Application B-13-21; and establish regulations that would permit up to 46.4 square metres (500 square feet) of the existing 230.6 square metre (2,485 square foot) detached accessory structure to be used for a limited range of commercial uses; and rezoning the southern 868.6 square metre (9,350 square foot) portion of 165 Chene Street from “Residential Zone 3 (R3-3)” to a revised “Residential Zone 3 (R3-3)” in order to: remove the currently permitted use of an automobile body repair garage in accordance with Condition 5 of Consent Application B-13-21; and establish a maximum lot coverage of 40% to facilitate the construction of one single-unit dwelling; in keeping with PBS-2021-45 and DS-2022-01, be adopted .

That Mark Hernandez, P.Eng., of Dillon Consulting Ltd., be appointed drainage engineer to make an examination of the area requiring drainage as submitted by the owner of 3425 County Road 43 (11 th Concession) in a “Petition for Drainage Works by Owners” dated November 22, 2021 and signed by the Clerk on November 23, 2021; And that a Drainage Report be prepared in accordance with Section 4 of the Drainage Act (Act), including provisions for future maintenance.

That the January 11, 2022 meeting of Council recess at 7:25 pm and a Personnel Committee Meeting convene in-closed session in accordance with Section 239 (2)(d) of the Municipal Act, 2001 which permits a meeting, or part of a meeting, to be closed to the public when the subject matter being considered is labour relations or employee negotiations.

That By-Law 2022-02 being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Tuesday, January 11, 2022, regular meeting of the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh be given first, second, third and final reading.
