Regular Council

That the Minutes of the January 27, 2026 Regular Council meeting and Special Council meeting as delivered to the Members, be adopted.

That the supplementary items added to the Regular Meeting agenda regarding the Mayor's 2026 Business Plan and Budget presentation be approved.

That Reports DS-2026-04 2025 Year End Building Permit Report, PWES-2026-03 Update on the Proposed Environment Assessment Regulation for Municipal Infrastructure, and PWES-2026-04 Reporting on the Town Traffic Related Policies be received and that the respective recommendations noted in the reports be approved.

That Report CS-2026-02 Community Safety – 2025 Year in Review, be received .

That the 2026 Budget Reconciliation to provide for the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB) Adjustments be accepted as presented in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001 Regulation 284/09; And that the 2026 Mayor’s Budget as first presented January 13, 2026 be received with no Council amendments; And that Council acknowledges that the 2026 Business Plan and Budget has been deemed adopted such that Administration is directed to record the 2026 Business Plan and Budget, as adopted at the February 10, 2026 Regular Council Meeting, having a municipal levy increase of 2.85% or $873,000 net of assessment growth and a consolidated tax rate increase of 2.36%.

That Communications - For Information A through E as listed on the Tuesday, February 10, 2026 Regular Council Agenda, be received.

That the minutes of the January 27, 2026 Court of Revision as were delivered to the Members, be approved.

That CRS-2026-03 Fairplay Woods Conservation and Recreational Use Plan be received; And that the implementation of the Fairplay Woods Conservation and Recreational Use Plan outlined in this report be approved .

That Report FS-2026-01 Taxes Receivable December 2025 be received .

That the 2026 Technology & Client Services (TCS) Lifecycle purchases as summarized in Attachment 1 to Report TCS-2026-01 TCS Capital Works Plan 2026-2030, in the amount of $166,652 for 2026 be received and confirmed as approved in the 2026 Budget; And that the purchases outlined in report TCS-2026-01 be funded through the TCS Lifecycle Reserve.

​ That By-Law 2026-008 Being a by-law to amend By-Law No. 2023-013, a by-law to appoint members to the Tecumseh Accessibility Advisory Committee for the term of Council 2022-2026. Be given first and second reading.

That the Regular Council Meeting scheduled for March 24, 2026 at 7:00 pm be moved to 5:00 pm to permit the Public Council Meeting to be held at 7:00 pm to allow members of the public to attend.

That By-Law 2026-09 being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Tuesday February 10, 2026, Regular Meeting of Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh be given first, second, third and final reading.

That there being no further business, the Tuesday, February 10, 2026 Regular Council be adjourned at 8:57 pm.
