Regular Council

That the minutes of the December 9, 2025 Regular Meeting of Council, the minutes of the December 9, 2025 Special Meeting of Council​, and the minutes of the December 9, 2025 Public Meeting of Council, as were delivered to the Members, be adopted .

That the Essex County OPP Detachment Board North 2026 Operating Budget be received.

That Communications - For Information A through M as listed on the Tuesday, January 13, 2026 Regular Council Agenda, be received .

​ That the minutes of the November 3, 2025 Essex County OPP Detachment Board North as were delivered to the Members, be accepted .

That Report LCS-2026-01 entitled “Animal Control Services” be received; And that The Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh extend the Agreement with the Windsor Essex County Humane Society for the provision of cat intake and spay/neuter services, at an annual cost to the Town of $8,500; And further that the Town renew the Agreement with Essex County K9 Services in the amount of $34,384 plus HST annually, for Animal Control Services; And furthermore , that By-Law 2026-002 be considered for first, second, third and final reading to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute a renewal Agreement between the Town and Windsor Essex County Humane Society, for a further two-year term commencing January 1, 2026 and concluding December 31, 2027; And furthermore, that By-Law 2026-003 be considered for first, second, third and final reading to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute a renewal Agreement between the Town and Essex County K9 Services regarding Animal Control Services from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028.

That Report PWES-2026-01 Sidewalk Gap Analysis Study, Integration into the 2026-2030 PWES Capital Works Plan, be received ; And that a Sidewalk Gap Analysis Study be included as part of the 2026-2030 PWES Capital Works Plan.

​ That By-Law 2026-001 being a by-law to execute an Agreement between The Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh and the Tecumseh Firefighter's Association be given first, second, third and final readings.

That By-Law 2026-002 being a by-law to authorize the execution of an Agreement between the Town of Tecumseh and the Windsor Essex County Humane Society for the Cat Intake and Spay/Neuter Programs; That By-Law 2026-003 being a by-law to authorize the execution of an Agreement Between The Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh and Essex County K9 Services for Animal Control Services for the period of January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028. Be given first and second reading.

That By-Law 2026-002 being a by-law to authorize the execution of an Agreement between the Town of Tecumseh and the Windsor Essex County Humane Society for the Cat Intake and Spay/Neuter Programs; That By-Law 2026-003 being a by-law to authorize the execution of an Agreement Between The Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh and Essex County K9 Services for Animal Control Services for the period of January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028 Be given third and final reading.

That By-Law 2026-04 being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Tuesday, January 13, 2025, Regular Meeting of the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Tecumseh be given first, second, third and final reading.

That there being no further business, the Tuesday, January 13, 2026 Regular Council be adjourned at 5:52 pm.
